Kim's success with Feng Shui for Love

Suzanne. I want to thank you for your "divine" help in the "creating" the feng shui for my house to attract love into my home and life. After spending 3 months on creating the perfect "entry" - love showed up. We have been together 4 months now and the "bond" keeps getting stronger. I sent you some pics before of what I created from your expert advice and help. The ancestors for family bond, the  horse for strength, KwanYin for spirituality, the gold, water and plant effects are all in the entry to my home - the outside walkway and the inside foyer.  My advice to others is - use Suzanne's wisdom along with your own Sense of  space & beauty to open the flow (energy).  You were "spot-on" with your expert advice. When love arrives - my advice is be honest and patient. You don't need to force it. Be yourself. Keep your focus on your own stuff/life - be active in "you". He loves that.  Love you suze!! Kim L. The Raven Spa

I spend some wonderful down time with my fantastic niece Kanani Kroll at the Raven Spa. We both needed to reboot our bodies. She's a fitness trainer at bfearlessfitness and my body gets tired after a week of Chinese Medicine and bodywork. Needless to say, both of our jobs can be depleting. I'm not easy to please in this area.  I loved the ambiance, Morocco/Turkey meets Thailand. Since my eight months last year in Bali and Thailand, I have not felt that sense of peace that my weekly spa visits infused. But as we dropped down on our mats behind draped graceful curtains, I could hear a real fountain and authentic music [as opposed to generic spa music]. My treatment by Dada was strong but gentle. It was authentic Thai. I had explained my injuries prior and she tuned into each one of them. I dropped deeper into relaxation when I realized I could trust my therapist, two weeks ago my therapist at Beverly Hot Springs had left bruises of her thumbs down both arms.
The design and feeling of Raven, www.theravenspa.com does what Spa should do, it gave me a chance to pause from the outside world and tune into my body and spirit. It was simply wonderful to leave Venice outside and be transported back to some of my favorite destinations in the world.
Traditional Haman scrubs and wraps, using authentic Moroccan oils and herbs will be available soon and I can't wait to try them.
I'm really excited about their group space, and am incubating and idea for a spa and chocolate event there, for my friends. Look for it!

Creating a Personal Aphrodesiac Scent

Signature scents

Essential oils are the distilled essence, vitality or sexuality of the petal, leaf, bark or root of a plant. These essences is complex, as it’s the scent of all plants that assure the continuation of the species. It’s the same with us. Plants are factories which produce chemicals by translating energy from the sun. These chemicals, when translated into essential oils, have an affinity to the chemicals of our bodies.
Smell is immediate. Our sense of smell is a primary defense mechanism. We react to smell in .05 seconds, to pain in 0.9 seconds and auditory in 0.15 seconds. A few drops of oil on one point of the body may take 20 minutes to do a complete circulation of the body but when we smell with our nose it is instant. The chemical of an aroma is transferred to the limbic brain and gives us feed back. Like or dislike. In one instant we have memories; we make judgments and we are attracted or repelled to the bearer of the scent.
Oils can be used medically, therapeutically, and as mood or spiritual enhancers. As the arts of aromatherapy and perfumery are multidimensional and layered, it takes a great deal of study to make a complex scent. We are going to keep our blending simple.
The idea behind this signature scent is that it’s personal. It will reflect you. And this scent is what the person you are attracting will forever remember you by, whenever and where ever they smell it. That’s because sense memory is an embedded, instantaneous thing. And it can work in your favor.
The Princess I worked for inherited from her Bedouin tradition the uses of expense incense. She and her ladies in waiting would sit huddled around a silver bowl in which you could fit a small goat. With hennaed hands they would blend rare sandalwood and other woods that only grew in the Arabia’s. Than they would pour oils from 15 cut crystal decanters until they had recreated a legacy scent recipe. She measured by eye and nose and mixed by hand. Finally she would arrive at the correct scent, the one that had marked her Royal Family name for generations. At one of the royal weddings she gave this $100,000,000 blend away as wedding presents.
When she or any other of the Princesses in the family went out, they stood over a small brazier of lit charcoal, upon which she poured her wood soaked rare oil signature scent. She would stand over it holding her French designer dress up away from the flames so the smoke of the incense could perfume her dress and skin. Her lady would hold the smoke to her hair and last her veil. She would than veil herself and covering her designer wear and she would disappear with just the tip of her fingers showing. As a topper she would spray her own touch of French perfume.
Even though no one could see The Princesses when they walked into a room because they were thickly veiled the intoxicating fragrance wafting down the hall would announce their arrival. There was no mistaking who was making their entry.
When I left The Kingdom, the Princess gave me a large jar of the incense valued at $1,000 an ounce. I burned it for years. It brought back many memories of our fourteen years together. I was happy to leave my veil there.
Now in making your signature scent that will make you unforgettable, you need to ask the question, “What is the purpose of this blend”? Our purpose here is attraction, so the properties of the essential oils will be guiding your blend.
